Is it possible to turn around a struggling store in 24 hours? Last year NBC’s TODAY show challenged me to use the techniques I normally use for Fortune 500 brands and retailers across the world on mom-and-pop stores.  For the record, TODAY show operates under NBC NEWS and thus no cheating was allowed – what you see on the screen is real. Now I can do the same for a few lucky book stores!

  • NBC TODAY SHOW: MAIN STREET MAKEOVER LAUNCH

A struggling food truck in Nashville – weeks away from bankruptcy – remarkably turned into a chain of restaurants across the U.S.

  • NBC TODAY SHOW: MAIN STREET MAKEOVER RICHMOND PART TWO

A struggling toy store in Richmond, IN witnessed their revenue increase close to 10% (while Toys “R” lost 7% in the same period).

  • NBC TODAY SHOW: MAIN STREET MAKEOVER BALTIMORE PART TWO

A struggling convenience store in Baltimore became the mayor’s favorite outlet – and witnessed an 8% increase in sales.

YOUR BOOK STORE COULD BE NEXT…!

My technique is based on what I call ‘Small Data’

It happens to be the title of my next book. Seemingly insignificant clues picked up in consumer’s homes – which time after time have shown to uncover new and often unusual ways to increase revenue in retail stores. I’d love to share my insights with you at the ABA Winter Institute event the 23rd of January 2016 in Denver, Colorado. However I need your help.
