One of my designers sent me a presentation sized at the optimum size for meeting room ‘big screens’ something like 800mm across. (clearly pre-covid guidelines) I spotted this and suggested as most people are working from home, A4 or A3 would be a more appropriate size, would he mind resizing. An hour went by and the designer called me to say he had spoken with his Design Director, and he was told that he can not change the optimum screen size settings due to design guidelines, but that I should send the presentation with a note to the recipient stating how they can adjust printer settings to fit to screen to print.
I had literally started Martin’s book that morning.
