Many years ago, I worked producing internal ads for a casino. The ads could be created at 48 different sizes depending on where they wanted to put them in the casino. Instead of selecting ONLY the sizes they needed ahead of time, they would pay for the production and printing at EVERY size, and then only use a few of them. When I pointed out this was a huge waste of time and money, they asked my boss to take me off the project.
