Also before COVID-19 they had a department that was supposed to look for solutions based on international practice, people regularly attended various conferences in different countries and were supposed to implement the best ideas in the workflow. In reality, they just traveled at the company’s expense and sometimes did not even reach the conferences (who came up with the idea of holding business conferences in Las Vegas?) because the director does not care what is right and what is wrong.
